What is the 48 Hour Film Project?
Get your team together now! Do you think you have what it takes to make a film in just 48 hours? Put your skills to the test when we host the next annual 48 Hour Film Project in Tallahassee!
The 48 Hour Film Project is a film production competition in which the filmmaker contestants are limited to conceiving, writing, rehearsing, shooting, editing and finalizing a five minute or less short film in exactly 48 hours. The 48 hours takes place over a weekend period. Filmmaker contestants will not know their theme until the contest begins. Filmmaker contestants will also be given a line of dialogue to use and the name of a prop to use. The final films will be screened online where voting will take place. Films will also be judged by the Tallahassee Film Festival in various categories.
